Having friends that you can discuss mental health with is so important. I just got done on Clubhouse with my best friends and we talked about so much going on in our lives.

I keep thinking about all the times I’ve felt down about what people have said about me online or in person. To those who feel they may not have a support system you have to talk to someone about your Mental Health/Anxiety battle.

So, couple days ago I made a contact with some close friends and I think about the great people I have in my support system and I feel so truly lucky to have them.

I’m not really sure how many times if I have experienced depression but I have had low phases and yes the mind naturally turns to spirituality. It’s natural because everything around you seems meaningless and loses its sheen and then you have to turn inwards.

Thousand reasons why I will write something very like it while I am deeply relieved that we are in about "Mental Illness/Anxiety"

I need y’all to understand that not every friend you have will serve the same purpose. I have friends who I discuss the law or other intellectual topics with, friends I party with, friends I discuss my bodily functions with, and friends I discuss my mental health with.

  • Do you discuss mental health with your friends, family or colleagues?
  • Do you have a difficult time explaining your mental health issues to your family and friends?

If so, here are six suggestions on how to discuss your mental health issues with your friends and relatives.

Well, "Mental Health" affects us all and we should be able to share experiences without facing any stigma.

Sometimes researching gives me several brain farts and idk where to start so you can start learning how to help during a mental health crisis by learning about mental illnesses that exist.

7 Types of Mental disorders :

  • mood
  • anxiety
  • personality
  • psychotic
  • eating
  • trauma related (such as post-traumatic stress disorder)
  • substance abuse

What’s a mental health crisis?

  • A mental health crisis is any situation in which a person’s actions, feelings and behaviors can lead to them hurting themselves or others and or put them at risk of being unable to care for themselves or function in the community in a healthy manner.
  • Mental Health First Aid is the help offered to a passion experiencing a mental health challenge, mental disorder, or a mental health crisis. The first aid is given until appropriate professional help is recieced or until crisis resolves.
  • Mental health first aid teaches the public how to recognize symptoms of mental health problems, how to offer and process initial help, and how to guide a person toward appropriate treatments and other supportive help.
  • Mental health first aid does NOT teach people to diagnose or provide therapy. Mental health challenges and disorders often develop during adolescence, including depression, anxiety, eating disorders, psychosis, and substance use disorders. One-half of all chronic mental illness begins by the age of 14; three-quarters by age 24.
  • Mental health challenges and disorders are common. Stigma and discrimination are associated with mental health challenges and disorders.

Stigma involves negative attitudes (prejudice), and discrimination refers to negative behavior (such as exclusion from social activities.) These attitudes and behaviors may hinder youth and young adults with problems from seeking help.

They may be ashamed to discuss mental health problems with family, friends, or school staff. People with mental health challenges can begin to believe the negative things that others say about them. Better understanding of the experiences of people with mental health challenges and disorders can reduce prejudice and discrimination.

People with mental health challenges or mental disorders may not be aware that they need help. Some mental health challenges or disorders can interfere with rational decision making. A person can be so distressed that they can not help themselves.”

We don’t talk about mental health issues anywhere near enough and I’m hugely fortunate to be surrounded by colleagues and friends who I feel able to discuss my mental health and theirs with. But it shouldn’t be a privilege — everyone should have that same support.

Hi, my friends.

Today, I want to discuss with you the increased risk of mental illness that we have as we serve here on this planet, with human brains and bodies and outlooks and circumstances.

We come into this world with a high vibration that does not match the 3rd Dimensional energy of the planet, most of us are immediately attached and targeted with devices and implants that are meant specifically to lower our vibration and throw us off our path of service.

As I’ve discussed before, many of us agree to incarnate into families or other relationships where we are meant to be the teacher and leader of souls who need our help and this is a huge challenge for us to honor and serve, all the time limited in our memory of ourself.

Many of us suffer from depression and anxiety, as well as other more serious forms of mental illness, all of which impacts our happiness and ability to serve.”

I've heard from many of you who are struggling with these challenges. I struggle with them myself. There are many approaches to handling these issues, and it's important to recognize that it is ok to admit you are struggling and need help.

Exercise is the human body's main outlet for expelling the dark energy of dark emotional experiences. When you exercise, you very literally sweat out the energetic residue that binds you to the sad experiences of the past.

There is a book, called "THE MOOD CURE" that AA Raphael frequently recommends. She is trained as a psychologist, and uses the book in her own practice. She recommended it to me as well, and I have found it very enlightening. "THE MOOD CURE" basically says that human brains that lack different enzymes and other substances are compromised, and can become depressed, anxious, or otherwise impaired. It gives information on what the brain needs to function well.

Talk therapy is also very helpful as we engage in a conversation with ourselves and a helpful therapist, trained to help us talk through our issues and figure them out. There is never any shame in engaging a therapist to help work through our human issues.

Journaling is also effective for many people, as it puts one in the position of writing down their thoughts, and thinking through what they write. Reading self-help books can be a motivator for others. “FIND WHAT WORKS FOR YOU” — don’t be ashamed to admit you need help.

I always get a lot of flack when I talk about human medical interventions for human problems, but tough. If you need antidepressants to help you be able to stick with your service mission and be happy here, take them. There is no shame in that, either.

Human biomedical scientists have become pretty competent in understanding the hormones that make a brain function and control our moods. There are some effective pharmaceutical antidepressants you should feel free to use if they help you.

The important thing is that you stay healthy and in a good mental place to be able to continue to do what you hoped to do in this incarnation. How you stay in that place is purely a matter of your own free will decisions, and is not open for debate by others. Honor yourself.

I encourage you as well to exercise the best you can. It is important for you to be as strong as you can be for what lies ahead. All of us on this planet are going to experience many challenges in the years ahead for which we need the strength that comes from exercise.

The holidays are very often difficult for those who feel like they don’t belong, or homesick or far from their family and friends. If the holidays are a difficult time for you, reach out and talk to other lightworkers. Everyone is going through something right now.

Remember that none of us can serve anyone else unless we first take care of ourselves. We have to be our own first priorities, and we need to care for our bodies and minds to be able to do any of the things we came to do on Earth.”

I want to tell you again that you are loved as an individual, and your service here is recognized and appreciated. Your soul groups and gestalts know where you are, and how you are serving. In meditation, you can ask for them to help you through your struggles of any kind.
