Be thankful for what you have, you’ll end up having more. If you concentrate on what you don’t have, you will never ever have enough.

Most people who have a bad attitude typically are not thankful people. They are the people who always look for reasons to put down ideas, tell others why something won’t work and bring down the culture of the people around them. You don’t have to be one of those people and you don’t have to be affected by one of those people.
I started finding practical ways to be more thankful and practice gratitude every day and as I started to take steps into this entirely new world, something happened.

- I could focus more on the important things
- I started seeing my dreams and desires come true
These benefits were impacting me a great deal each day I was really being intentional about being thankful and practicing gratitude annd while at first, it was hard, I found resources which helped me move more and more into a thankful space.

- Write down five things you are thankful for and why you are thankful for them
- Thank the first person you see for something they did or said
- Find a reason to be thankful the moment something difficult happens
- Send ‘Thank You’ notes to people for any reason possible
There is something powerful in the practice of acknowledging all the good things in our lives. Even when things aren’t great about different aspects of our lives, you need to look for the good in them
When you find a little good and a reason to be thankful, you allow yourself to be set free from any sort of oppression or strength negative energy has over your lives. You give yourself the power to take control a little bit and start chasing after the world around you.
By being thankful you are giving yourself the power to chase your dreams, set your goals, and live your best life now

Gratitude
The choice to adopt a grateful attitude toward life transforms what could easily be looked upon as a life in which at least half of it sucks into, a life so full of amazing things I can’t stop smiling
- If you think that I am joking or that this is a great exaggeration of the truth, then you need to examine your attitude toward life
- If you don’t believe in the power of gratitude, then your life probably resembles the first life and you are annoyed with the description of the second because obviously it’s made up
Consider your own life
No one would have described me as a grateful person about a year ago. I was shrewd, critical and calculating. Much of life was lived in survival mode
When I woke up to the reality of my life, when I started taking full responsibility for the direction and meaning of my hours and days as they flowed by, I was repeatedly confronted with the same choice : “Be grateful or be critical”
